Beef Liver Recipe

An inexpensive weekly meal for your family to enjoy!

Ingredients

  • Liver
  • Flour
  • Butter
  • Oil
  • Sliced Onion
  • Beef Stock
  • Smoked Bacon
  • Tomato Sauce
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Sauté the onions in a little butter and oil.
  2. Cut the bacon into strips and add it to the onions.
  3. Add the beef stock. Once it boils, you add the flour, stir until its n ice and thick, add the tomato sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. In another pan using some butter, salt and pepper the liver and fry off the pieces to your preference.
  5. Once done, add to the sauce and simmer for another 10 minutes. Add salt and pepper to your taste.
  6. Serve with a side salad or steamed veg or mashed potato.
  7. Enjoy!
